THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRACTICE
You will be treated as an individual and will be given courtesy and respect at all times.
You have the right to be treated with confidentiality.
Telephone calls to the surgery will be answered as quickly as possible.
You will be offered an explanation if your appointment is exceeded by more than 30 minutes.
If the doctor thinks it is necessary you will be referred to an appropriate consultant.
A doctor will visit you at home if you are too ill or infirm to be brought to the surgery.
A doctor from the practice or one of the deputising doctors will visit you outside normal hours for emergencies.
Repeat prescriptions will be ready 24 hours after requested.
Complaints and suggestions should be made in writing or in person to the Practice Manager.
PATIENTS RESPONSIBILITIES
Please treat the doctors and all the practice staff with the same courtesy and respect.
In the mornings reception is very busy, please be patient.
Please telephone for test results between 12.30pm and 1.00pm.
Please remember that the doctor you require may not always be available due to other commitments, such as holidays or study leave.
Please do every thing you can to keep appointments. Let us know as soon as possible if you cannot.
Request for a home visit should be made before 10.30am but please do not ask for a home visit unless it is strictly necessary.
Please post or bring requests for repeat medication to the surgery as telephone requests cannot be accepted. Always use the repeat order slip provided by the computer.
Saturday morning surgery is from 9.00am – 10.00am and is for
