I graduated from University of Leeds (1982) and served as a Medical Doctor in Army Medical Services from 1982 to 1989. Then I moved to Australia and worked in Brisbane Locum Services before joining Christchurch Family Medical Centre back in April 1990 (formerly the Overnhill Road Surgery).
To my personal achievements, I have been honoured and awarded as MBE in 1988, and also hold the title of British Universities Badminton Champion in 1980.
I am the partner with multitude of responsibilities ranging from minor surgery, joint injections to Opiate substitute prescribing and Forensic Medical Examiner (Police Surgeon). Although I love the diversity of General Practice, I have a special interest in managing Asthma, COPD and also involved in teaching students and medical education.
