Immunisation for Foreign Travel
Please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse at least six weeks before expected date of departure and complete the ‘Travel Risk Assessment Form’ found on this web-site. Not all immunisations are free but the practice nurse will advise you of the cost prior to the treatment.
MASTA ( Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad)

Counselling
There is a counselling service at the practice, referrals are made through the doctors.
Private Medicals
The doctors will undertake the following private services by prior arrangements:
Insurance Medicals
Driving Medicals (eg HGV)
Letters and Forms
Sports medicals. The NHS does not pay for all the services the practice provides. When asking the doctors to complete forms or produce letters on your behalf (not referral letters) please bear in mind that there will be a fee. These include private sick notes, private prescriptions, fitness to travel certificates, passport signing, holiday cancellation forms and driving medicals. Christchurch Dental Practice

A private physiotherapist holds clinics on Monday and Thursday each week. For information and appointments please telephone:

A private Osteopath holds a clinic on alternate Tuesday mornings. For an appointment please ring the surgery number.
Boots the Chemist
The practice has a pharmacy in the building that is open the same hours as the practice.
